transadf problems..

I got this working without any problems a while ago but now it just won´t work.

I use: ´transadf rad file.adf write´ after i mounted the rad disk but i just got various errors like "transadf: error - coudn´t inhibit dos access to rad".

Any idees?

Well, you should be writing:

transadf rad: file.adf write

By the way, even after you unpack an ADF to the RAD drive, most (all?) NDOS games just wont work. The RAD device is not 100% compatible with a trackdisk.device

..yeah must have been that. But i thought i tried it, well pretty tierd today.

And yeah i know the rad disk is sort of useless in that way. I use it mainly as a way to get passed the adf - > floppies -> harddrive. It speeds up the hdinstallation process a great deal..

You should be using FMS devices then... unADF onto an FMS disk and then HD Install from the FMS devices you have. Most handy! You will be able to have ALL disks in your HD so you can install them, otherwise you haev to keep on unADFing onto the RAD and stuff like that....

try it
