What happened to p.OS ?

What happened to p.OS ? Searching for something in old amiga magazines I've found the p.OS prerelease test but couldn't find any statement why it was canceled. So were there any reasons published ?

I think I read somewhere that when Amiga wanted to do OS3.5 they did'nt felt there was a market for p.os anymore.

BTW, I would like to test the prerelease P.OS in WinUAE, if anyone had the prerelease CD, please share.

Tried it today. Sad to see that it never became anything more than just a prerelease demo. They must have spent many late nights coding it. All the work for nothing in the end.
