Cool If possible: which Coin-op wanted on Amiga?

Now I am into MAME (finally) I have noticed many great games which would be great if they ever were converted to Amiga.
If it was ever possible, what coin-ops would you like to see on Amiga?

A favorite of mine would be Mitchell's Mad Motor (1989). Although not refreshingly renewing gameplaywise, the game's premise (mad mutated motorrider beats fellow road users) would make a great Amiga game.

Thumbs up Re: Elevator Action returns

Hey, this game looks really good! I have checked some info and screenshots of it at KLoV. The only version of Elevator Action I've ever played was the C64-one which was pretty dire.

Cool Ninja Clowns

Oh well now I am at typing, here is another game I would like to see on Amiga: Ninja Clowns! It is a beat 'em-up with some wonderful and weird enemies. I love wacky games.

Elevator action was released for the NES and C64 and I think spectrum too. That screenshot definately looks like an updated version.

@Tim
Ive just got into MAME as well (I also took my own sweet time).
Heres a few of the gems Ive discovered so far:

Metal Slug - Very cool
R-Type Leo - Id never heard of this but its GREAT!
Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo - Best Tetris variant EVER!
Sunset Riders - Excellent Wild West shooter
Last Blade - A superb 2D sword based fighter.

As for arcades Id like to see Amiga conversions of, for me its more a case of conversions Id like to see done PROPERLY:

Powerdrift
Chase HQ
Outrun
Shinobi
Streetfighter 2

Only problem with Elevator Action Returns is that the sound is a bit buggy in the version of MAME that i'm using. I haven't checked for updates in a while so it's probably been fixed, but i'm scared to update my version of MAME because they always change/update a couple of ROMsets so you end up having to download updated versions of those too.

Still, might be worth a try as i really can't remember the last time i updated my MAME.

Hey, elevator action returns is awesome! Thank you for pointing it out! But the sound is still buggish in my version (Edit: .62). Don't bother updating in the count of this.

Can't quite remember how Hebereke no Popoon plays but as far as I recall it plays a lot like Super foul egg, Dr. Robotnicks Mean bean machine, qwirks or whatever the variant of the game you're playing.

Elevator Action Returns it's a GREAT game. I first got Raine years ago just to play that little game, it's platform action at its best. And now I remembered it got a Sega Saturn version, I HAVE to hunt it down

I have 1-credit this beast.. anyone up for the challenge?

Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Kirby's Avalanche, Qwirks are all different names for the EXACTLY same game: Puyo Puyo. I think Compile were some big whores with Puyo Puyo, as they sold the game for nearly everyone. Hal Laboratory, Sega, Microsoft and anyone who wanted to pay the money for to publish the game with different characters. (Qwirks even had in the box a sign saying it was developed by the same guy who made Tetris!!!) .

Now for the arcade game I would like on Amiga... hmm.. Street Fighter 2

Now seriously, I would love to see NBA Jam.

1. Metal Slug
2. Proper Shinobi (even the C64 version was miles better than the Amiga's)
3. Rolling Thunder 2

i would of liked the Aliens co-op, but that might of been because i was into the films at the time!!!

Now-a-days, there is no difference between co-ops and consoles anyway... apart from that sound you hear when you walk into an arcade...

Thumbs up Wardner

I almost forgot Wardner! This is a lovely platformgame released in 1987. The game looks, feels, plays and sounds like an Amiga game. Although the level-layout could have been better (level four - Castle, anyone?) this would have been a perfect arcade conversion. In fact, when I first saw screenshots of this game in 1988, I thought it was released on Amiga!

@Djay,
Seeing 720 Degrees on Amiga would have been great. I always enjoyed this game on C64.

Hehe

(Splatterhouse)

I'd love to see a conversion of this game. Or this one

(Truxton)

There are conversions of almost all games I liked in the arcades, although most not very good ones. Examples: Galaxy Force, Shinobi, Double Dragon 1, After Burner, Final Fight...

EDIT: seems as if the "red x of doom" apprears if the mame.net server is busy. In this case just reload the pics.
