Hi, I'm the guy who did the art for this litle collect-em-up. Thought I'd drop in to defend Photoshop which I use for all my pixel art.

The latest version of PShop come with a program called ImageReady which is geared towards creating low res images and animated gifs. Once set up correctly with the anti aliasing options turned off ImageReady is as valid a medium for pixelart as any. Just look at Eboys site, they use Photoshop and create some stunning pixelart.

Anyway more of stuff can be seen here...

Hello, the Retro cover was great!

Where did you get the ideas for the huge plasma in the middle of the room etc? It turned out to be a cool picture I think. I seemed to find new stuff in it for 2 weeks (I dig the little SF2 dolls), then it was like I found stuff I always had seen before but forgotten.

Thumbs up

Just reviving this forgotten thread.

I'm not sure if tomcat666 or any of you have noticed but this cool little demo by tomcat has made it into the hallowed pages of the latest issue of... you guessed it, Edge magazine!!

It has a nice little article on the great work by both tomcat666 and the artist and also provides a link to his army of trolls webpage. There's also a couple of screenshots of the game in action. The Head over Heals remake also gets a mention! Nice one.

Hehe, yea, we have been informed that it will appear in the actual Edge... but kinda didn't want to mention it in case it wouldn't happen :-)

I hope HoH will be finished soon... it has been sitting around on the HD for quite some time now. As soon as the gfx are finished it will be released, I promise :-)

Oh, and there will be a homepage with more screenshots for it done soon too...

There is absolutely *NO* doubt that HoH will be overhelming in terms of downloading...

Well, the homepage will be up soon (with new screenshots) and a new planet done too - which will bring it very close to release. But work (mostly) must be put before it... As soon as the homepage is ready I will post a message...
