Amiga music you still find yourself humming...

Possibly another pointless thread, but I thought it was worth starting after finding myself humming the Phenomena Enigma demo music during a cigarette break at work today.

Also (to paraphrase Kylie) I just couldn't get Giana Sisters out of my head last week.

Maybe it's because they were so simple, but Amiga demo and game music is worse than horrible pop records for hanging around in your brain.... especially after 10-13 years.

So... what do you still hum?

And please don't misinterperet this question as "What's Your Favourite Amiga Music?" I'm looking for stuff you find yourself humming and not realising it. Maybe you've accidentally started humming the theme from Rock 'n' Roll at a funeral, or broken into a burst of Magical Sound Shower during a moment's silence.

Do tell.

Thumbs up IK+

Rob Hubbard's tune for IK+ is a favourite of mine. I already loved it on C64 International Karate. I even have installed it on my mobile. It is a perfect and not-so-irritating tune:

Tempo: 125
18*, 6**, 0, 69, 099, 18*, 6**, 0, 69, 08, 68, 1*, 2, 2, (hold 1)9, 08**, 188, 1, 1, 1, 19, 6**, 0, 69, 08, 68, 1*, 2, 2, (hold 1)9, 0**, 18, 6**, 0, (hold 6)9, 0, 28*, 1, 2, 1, 59**, 688, 6, 6, 6, 19*, 6**, 0, 69

Many Amiga tunes hold a fantastic hum-ability factor. After all, that's what the tunes were designed for - draw you towards the game and be as addictive as possible!

I've hummed many tunes over the years. Robocod, Super Cars II for some reason immediately spring to mind, as does Shadow of the Beast.

Rock N Roll had me humming that level one tune for ages as did the intro to Blood Money. The Settlers tune was stamped in my subconscious for days after I finished it in one sitting. Battle Squadron, Turrican series, Lotus 3 oh flippin heck the list is endless!

Yes, Amiga tunes definitely had high hum-ability factors. Perhaps we can try and compose a top ten, if that's possible.

Rainbow Island's "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" ditto.

Any lemmings tunes - play the game with music on, and then go do something else (without music playing) .. you'll be humming to the last one you heard!!

I hum the captive intro music
