Surely it should be *recommended* in that case? Look at Payback for example, requires an 020 but recommends an 040 (and rightly so - running it on an 030 gives <5FPS). And what about people who might like to play it under emulation, but don't bother because WinUAE doesn't support emulation of a 68080?

I haven't tried it myself, but how slow does it actually run on an 060/75? If I get a chance this weekend I'll give it a try...

Well, downloaded it and tried it. Double-clicked the icon and it gave an "unable to open..." error, so I tried selecting a different tool and choosing wesnoth.bin. That threw an error straight away about "basic_string::_S_construct NULL not valid" and "Abnormal program termination", so maybe it's not meant to be. I wonder how others got it working under emulation though...

Yep, my setup is an A1200 060/66, 192MB, 1920x1200x24 screenmode (800x600x16 is available too), and a permanent internet connection. The OS4 version runs fine, and is a much larger archive so I thought maybe there are lots of data files missing or something, so I tried copying the executable over. But no change. I mean, if it can't even start the executable by double-clicking the icon, and the readme says nothing about how to get it working, there's something fundamentally wrong somewhere. I even tried downloading the archive and installing under WinUAE, but it behaves exactly the same.

The archive includes an executable, name "wesnoth.bin", .bin extension confuses workbench (Def_Icon), l files from Shell start works, see video.

stack 600000
run wesnoth.bin > nil: --fps --resolution 800x600 --bpp 16

Execute script

Ah, you see, that's something that could easily be explained in the readme. If you unpack the archive there's a Wesnoth icon, which it turns out is a script but has an icon type of "tool", therefore doesn't work. There are no other icons visible when you unpack it - for the wesnoth.bin file or any other.

Running the wesnoth.bin executable runs fine here (DefIcons causes no problems and sees it as an executable), and setting the icon's type to Project and giving it a default tool of IconX lets it work as expected. Hmmmm, seems like a strange oversight, but anyway, it works now, slowly but it works.

can't get past the first level. no matter if i turn left or right when the street splits: game over.
and when i quit the game by hitting, i get the message "cannot open rom: epr-10381a.132"
that's weird. no epr-10381a.132 in outrun revision b rom i downloaded, only epr-10381b.132.

Not sure of the name or author but it's a remix of Project X's title music.
