OSX - 2.8.1u3 and 2.7.16dev mouse issues
Hi Frode,
Using the latest stable and dev versions (both 64 bit) I've noticed some pretty nasty mouse-click issues. It isn't recognizing every mouse click. I'm using OSX El Capitan. For some reason I have to click multiple times to get it to notice, and I have to click a lot of times for it to double-click. Please let me know if I can provide any logs or anything. Thanks! |

Yes, me! I already made a report here, too.
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=84564 I think it's related, since the problems don't occur with WinUAE 3.3 on Windows 10. |

Maybe... esc, are you using mouse integration as well?

Hi Frode! Yes, it also only happens if mouse integration is enabled. If I disable it, everything works normally.
I'm not sure if fullscreen / windowed mode also makes a difference, but my impressions are it happens more often with fullscreen mode. |

Yeah, definitely seems to be related to mouse integration.
If I go to settings -> mouse and turn all "Grab Input" options to OFF then the issue goes away. There's something wonky when FS-UAE owns the mouse completely. Thanks for the follow up here ![]() |

Just a question, is there something esc and me can do about finding the issue? |

@BastyCDGS A happy new year to you too! (Moved the post to this thread).
The most helpful think you can do is try to help figure out what the pre-requisites are for the problem to occur (since I haven't managed to trigger it). esc's latest post is a bit interesting though, because FS-UAE isn't supposed to grab the mouse when mouse integration is turned on. |

@FrodeSolheim
I have attached my WB1.3 .fs-uae config as well as the Data/Settings.ini file. Maybe it helps to trigger the problem. A standard WB1.3 harddisk installation should be enough. I also just spent some time investigating the issue with FS-UAE 2.8.3. I think it's related to the screen dragging issue. In fullscreen mode when I start to drag the WB1.3 workbench screen down there's a zoom effect first and a little bit later it actually starts dragging the screen. This zoom behaviour is not with WinUAE and original Amiga. Also I just found out that the clicks work okay if you drag the screen to a location where it is not zooming anymore but actually dragging. I guess there are some mouse pointer coordinate translation issues. Last edited by BastyCDGS; 21 January 2017 at 10:08. Reason: Added Settings.ini contents |
