Hi from UK!

Just joined up today

Back in the day I had a 500+ and 1200, must have sold them 20 years ago but now looking to re-kindle my inner Amiga again.

I am based near Belfast in the UK.

Welcome! winUAE will provide a large portion of nodtalgia I'm sure. Hardware will make it even better.

Thank you for the warm welcomes

I did recently pick up a 500+ but it was plagued by the dreaded Varta leak.
It got under a large area of the PCB soldermask and did a good job of eating away the traces, vias etc. It was too far gone to spend the time on it so I'll chalk that one up to experience

Damn, sorry to hear that sector101

You could always do as I do these days and just emulate

WinUAE is all Amiga's in one (and a lot less expensive than real hardware / requires much less space)
