Magic User Interface features

I finally got my newly acquired A1200 pretty much tweaked but I want the MUI interface customized.

I am using Classic Workbench and MUI is part of the customization, right?
I go to settings in MUI and it shows a couple of alternate setups that look nice but only for registered users I suppose. No way to register as far as I can tell, and from searches on this topic wouldn't help anyways.

I know if you play with it enough some changes can be made but not like the preview samples. No amount of researching into past topics really explains this to me.

MUI is a graphical user interface only used by software developed with MUI in mind. Customising MUI will customise those applications, but not the rest of your system.

You can change all settings in an unregistered copy of MUI, you just can't save them - so they'll be lost when you reboot or turn the machine off. This can be circumvented with a simple trick: just copy the MUI settings from ENV: to ENVARC: once you have everything configured to your liking.

I prefer unregistered MUI over registered. I have a key but don't use it.

It is still possible to register, but you will get a key on another name... long story, but the programmer is no more able to generate personally keyfiles and he did not allow anyone to repair his A3000 to save the data. So just look in an old bbs collection for a working key, it will hurt nobody.

Unnecessary configuration...default configuration, I don't care about that, all I'm interested in is each individual mui app configuraton. Key not needed...

Well, even if it's with different name, the money and the key are transferred. The money part is left out in your suggestion... even if you think it doesn't hurt anyone. Granted, it looks that he doesn't care that much anymore...

With "it is still possible to register", I mean paying.
