Good for you then, at least you've done something. Would be a shame if you were just feeling entitled to tell other people what to do with their spare time.

You can do that on an A500.

(Deviating from the topic, I know. But then again, this entire topic is so pointless and so typical of the Amiga world. We should know better than to even waste a few hundred bytes of bandwidth on yet another "product" which is announced by a zero-trackrecord entrepreneur.)

seemingly it takes more time to create a "webside" (his spelling, not mine!) than a CPU card

So did he have any contact with resellers or not?

I asked vesalia, if they heard of this new company..the answer came quickly after i send them this mail, they said no, there was no contact..and this is a germany based store, well maybe they have other channels..

i give them the benefit of the doubt, but the press release was promised late september, and now its oktober.. and by each picture or photo they post..and people ask something they say wait for press release..

if i was a new restarted company, i would have done all public relations stuff (like a website) before going public, to make a good impression.

Agree 100%. This looks so amateur compared with the real Phase5 from the 90s. Feels like a 'reputation abuse' to me by a very fishy guy...

The new phase5 company has nothing to do with the old phase5 company. Neither the founding members of the old company, nor the technicians are on board. The former intern ( Salvador Fernandez Gomez)of that time runs this new company construct. The question is how he gets all this technical data from the old company?? In my opinion owns Ralph Schmidt most the software rights. For example - a1k has the permission from him to upload all the old phase5 data - which is obvious for only non commercial usage. http://phase5.a1k.org
Some of the software inside the machs is also from him - I'm curious what Mr.Schmidt will do if the new company builds hardware. (Which I do not really expect)

Big grin

yep, this is really looking like a bad joke, the more he posts the more ridiculous it becomes.

And notice also his "cyberoffice 2016". Printed a few logos on A4 sheet, put it on the window and a printed C=/P5 A4 on the door. Plus a box of a PC mainboard that came out in 2008 (!), a scanner that looks like one from the 90s, and a Cybervision marquee he probably took from his old employer.
Not even a chair in there. This looks like a typical rent-per-day office.

So in conclusion, looks a very busy and well organized place...

I am wondering why no old P5 employee came forward to enlighten us, e.g. saying this is legit or this is just the "coffee boy" who recycled the P5 name with nothing behind it.

Ralph Schmidt seems to still own the rights of the old phase 5 roms.

These aren't the cards we're looking for,
You can go looking for better cards,

They do look strangely like the sort of thing you find in a cupboard when you rent an office, abandoned there years ago by a previous tenant.

As long as no one signs any preorders or pays any money in advance, no one should "get hurt".
But if its a scam, its a pretty crappy one unless it leads to some kind of gain for the ppl behind it.
So again, sit tight and observe from a safe distance where this goes...
