Also im on winXP now, and remember it didnt work on xp, any idea if it does yet?
I wanna copy over my Knightmare save disk and finish it! i was so close to the end (but stuck) hehe

Disk2FDI i think its called!

and here is the link: http://www.oldskool.org/disk2fdi/

As far as XP goes! stick the program on the root drive.. C: in no folder yeh! re-boot with a dos disk... a 98se floppy is good! once at the dos prompt run Disk2FDI thats what i was doing until my miggy was sorted out on my network good luck m8!

Knightmare uses custom formatted save disk. Current Disk2FDI only supports standard formats, but rawread might work..

This does not help much if C is NTFS formatted...

@Toni

True m8! but i dualboot 98se and XP so i leave the drives FAT32!
also! if CreepingDeath has upgraded 98/se by loading XP on top! will it not stay fat32?

rawread requires real Amiga (even A500 works if it has enough memory for image file)

I don't think there PC programs that can create extended adf images (at least not yet)

Disk2FDI will do the job m8... isnt there a doc file with it? or you can type DISK2FDI whilst in dos and it should display the required codes n stuff...

i will check it out in a bit

EDIT:
C:\DISK2FDI /S B: DEMO
Will create an ADF, ST or IMG image of disk in drive B to the
DEMO.ADF, DEMO.ST or DEMO.IMG file, depending on the kind of disk you
have inserted. The kind of disk is detected automatically.

What i do is have the amiga disk and a blank pc disk inserted and i do this:

C:\DISK2FDI /S C: DEMO

it will read the amiga disk and save the adf file to drive C:
then after its finished you reset and boot back into windows... go straight to drive C: and there should be an adf file all ready for winuae/fellow etc...

hope this helps!

ill have to try it soon

hm i tried it, but got a problem..
i booted with win98 cd as a boot disk, so i get to a dos prompt.
Trouble is it takes A: as the temporary ram disk.
My usual floppy A: drive becomes B:
My usual floppy B: drive is not recognised at all meaning the prog wont work cos it needs 2 drives.

any ideas?

Instead of using Disk2FDI, you can try this ADF : http://amigadump.emu-france.com/fichier.php?id=115
The site is in french, but the floppy is in english.

Transfer this ADF to your amiga via a null-modem serial cable. This site will help you : http://homepage.uibk.ac.at/homepage/c725/c72578/amiga/

I have been able to use disk2fdi with the fat32 and xp.

Format a floppy checking make it bootable (it will create a millennium startup disk, damn dos was really crap - try it for 1 min ) , then reboot with the disk inserted in the first drive ( maybe you have to change the bios settings ), and you should arrive to the dos prompt in c: ( that's the fat32 partition ) where you should have the disk2fdi program.

Then proceed with the syntax described by ElectroBlaster.
