ZorRAM, DKB 3128 Memory Expansions Cards

Hi Tony,

I was just wondering if you plan to add implement any OS4.1 compatible Memory Expansion Card(s) emulation to WinUAE?

There are currently two compatible cards with Amiga OS 4.1 FE:
ZorRAM 128MB or 256MB (Amiga 3000(T) or Amiga 4000(T) only)
DKB 3128 Zorro Memory Card (Amiga 3000(T) or Amiga 4000(T) only)

Can this work fast enough under emulation?

WinUAE already allows you to add Z3 RAM (just set it with the slider) - unfortunately until Hyperion updates the kernal to allow it to be used as general-purpose RAM it's only usable as swap. There's nothing Toni can do about this since it's a software (i.e. AmigaOS 4.x) limitation, not a hardware one.

Thanks, I was looking for information about that, however I didn't found anything clear enough. Once again thanks for clarification.

Topic to close.
