Anyone managed to create a League disk for 'Wipeout' (tron like one)

its not the racing 2097 wipeout, its the tron like one by Gonzo Games.
Finally found this gem of a game again, but am unable to create a league disk so cant play it.
During the in game format process, i follow the instructions it gives me on startup (press left mouse every screen flash) and i can see the disk tracks gradually counting down as it formats.
But then it will get stuck at a random one, and keep repeating trying to format that track.
If anyone has a pre-made league disk i could use, id be grateful!

It's pretty weird, but I managed to run it today without a league disk; but only once...

On WinUAE you seem to need to put the game disk in the first two drives to get it to run at all. In WinFellow, it works with only one disk.

However, I couldn't get the format to work - it happened as you described, except I managed to get it to count down to the first track on the second attempt. After that it didn't do anything more.

When it worked, all I did was load it up in WinUAE, with both disks in the drive and it seemed to go on to a list of players. I think that maybe the game disk can work as a league disk, which is why it worked with the game disk in twice. But then, it didn't seem to work again.

Well, at least I got screens for HOL, as these were missing!

i actually also tried converting my old league disk from my amiga to the pc using that software that needs 2 drives, but no luck. it seemed to have great trouble reading both the game and the league disk and didnt work when i tried to run it in the emu.

practise works fine in the emu. Just to play the proper league based game, u need a league disk
this and dragons breath were both my fave games when i was little, and niether works on emu it seems

was wondering, could this be the first ever game to allow u to change the fov?
not sure when it was released now, about 1984-86 i think.

WHDLoad is a tool for installing games to hard disk:

Cody's WHDLoad FAQ

Galahad patched the original. The installer is here:

These are the screens that I grabbed for HOL:

damn i aint got a clue
first up how do i extra lha? winace opens em and sees whats inside, but it refuses to extract em.

should i be booting from HDD? Cos atm I boot with WB1.3, then use the hdd once booted.

Also in WB3.1 i can see many games and stuff which i have put in there. in WB 1.3, all i can see is a folder DM2 (dungeon master) and thats it
theres no option to see hidden files in WB1.3
i put the dragons breath.LZX file and the lha files in there, but cant see em in workbench.

damn im getting more lost, the WDHLoad installer is also LZX, which i cant see in the emu, and i have no idea what to do with it or anything
hm i see its meant for actual amiga users, not winuae. does it work on winuae?

added: ok dont worry about it, im giving up lol
gonna wait for an ADF version to appear. I see 1. i need to reg WHDLoad - no chance of that if i cant work it.
and 2. i need the original dragons breath disks? well nobody has them in adf format that i know, so nothing i can do anyway.
wiped my originals years ago when i sold my a500 for an a1200 and it stopped working
