Would have been MK2 by then, but yes, I started out with a MK1, crappy as it was.

But you would never have been so stupid as to encrypt the boot file based on a value in memory!

That's what I really meant, sorry! Most hardware banging games throw out the system after one trackdisk.device load anyway so 1.2 was still great for most things!

Didn't think you'd be slumming it on an AR Mk I back in '89 - they really were shite! So glad I started off with the Mk II in the 90s and graduated to a Mk III several years later!!

ROFL

Who says that I'm not already sunning it up in paradise on the beach with palm trees, white sands, crystal blue waters with a rum & coke in hand while posting

Haha, I should have figured that the Dominican Republic's wireless coverage is 1000x better than Australia's! Just about every developing/3rd world nation in the world does, as do one-stop hooker motels in Las Vegas!!!

Enjoy web surfing on the beach sand with the Bacardi rum 'n' cokes in hand, ya lucky b@$%$^! I'll just go back to working on the laptop, drinking percolated caffe`and watching the Euro lasses throwing themselves around the court at Wimbledon.......
