SysopRequest!

GREETINGS!

GREETINGS!

I'm using WinUAE 3.2.1 on an HP2000 (AMD E-300 APU w/ Radeon(tm)HD Graphics 1.3 GHz. Win 8.1) [[Expanded WinUAE example configuration, High-end expanded config, 68040 cpu, JIT (8 MB cache, FPU support, Constant jump, Direct, No flags), CPU internal, CPU Emulation Speed Fastest possible, AGA, NTSC Chipset, Chipset Extra A4000T, Genlock connected, Sprites and Sprites vs. Playfield Collision Level, (Adv. Chipset untouched/ Compatible Settings locked), KickStart 3.1 40.68 (512k), Chip 8MB, Slow 1.5 MB, Z2 Fast none, Z3 Fast 4 MB, 32-bit Chip none, Motherboard Fast 64 MB, Processor Slot Fast 128 MB, Autoconfig Z2 Fast RAM, Second Z2 Fast RAM board 256 KB, Z3 mapping mode: Automatic (*), Expansion Board SCSI Controllers, Miscellaneous Expansions uaescsi device, CD32 Full Motion Video cartridge, UAE Zorro III (*) RTG Graphics Card 1 GB VRAM]]

Is it possible to request of a SYSOP? If so, is there a suite of desktop customization programs to make the system look more modern? including an active gif animation for the desktop? Can this system get any better? Is PPC emulation going to do anything better than it is now? Will the Cyberstorm accelerator? How about 3.9 or even AOS 4.1?

I use DPaint IV, Modeler/VideoScape 3D, others, and will be checking out Cinema 4D and Alladin 4D (& possibly some CAD & video programs). I want to be able to use a computer like my old A500 with a genlock! (1 video input, 1 overlayable video out) Is that a happening thing?
(Maybe with one of those aftermarket video in/out recorders one might find at an electronics store that hooks up through a usb and allows recording old videos?)

Is any one in X1000 land going to port over the old modo line of 3D programs to AOS4.1?

Thank you very much! JZon

OK

Found BoingBag4. (Better Workbench) Glow icons activated successfully. Amiga os4.1 picture for desktop background looking good.

WinUAE running good.

No problems really. Just wondering if there's anything left to upgrade. (accelerator or ppc possibly?)

Who knows about the arguments and lawsuits that took place over the years with the Amiga os? I'd like to find out the details about which versions and hardware/software involved and who bought who and what's open/closed.

Will Brilliance or Lightwave 3D have the ability to manipulate nodes? svg?

OK. Thank you very much! JZon

Can AOS3.1 operate from CottonCandy? If so, is multi-threading a happening thing? With multiple instances? A veritable 'Mighty-Mouse' of computing capacity, each independently running, or combined thereof for maximum efficiency.

I'd like to see pre-existing software running in their ideal RAM, multi-threaded or not, genlocked in layers for each os, so as to be able to skip to one os/layer at x amount of colors, 000rgb no alpha, like normal, to another os/layer, running whatever program, and so on, to it's 'comfortable' capacity.

A little av output and usb, with an adapter, for a 'Pro-Joystick' and an 'Amiga-Keyboard' (with those little characters from C-64 days) would be choice!

Maybe a Demo Library with as many games, tracing back to Jumpman, actually Pong, to present, and a virtual museum of everything that happened to Commodore, the Amiga OS, and all it's variants, to present?

Yes, combining forces with multiple instances of AOS 3.1, running in series, genlocked, multithreading if necessary depending on application requirements, all in HDMI from a computer stick, with input to attach an Amiga keyboard and a "Pro" Joystick.

Has this been attempted?

CorrectHunchOrFutility?

Toni Wilen! It's an honour.

Does Amiga OS 3.1 have the ability to emanate from ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore 32-bit processor, implementing the ARMv7-A architecture, & providing 4 cache-coherent cores? (Borgar.ljosland@fxitech.com came back DNS error) ((Maybe you have already made a rapport with Bogar?))

If so, could one run multiple instances of AOS3.1, in parallel, as in all running simultaneously, and in series for the outputs on each via genlocked/layered NTSC outs? (Same as having x4 Amiga computers with Amigens, hooked up in series, to an AV recording device so I can overlay graphics 4 ways to Sunday?)

OK. Thank you very much!

NorwegianChameleon!

How many Amiga users would want to purchase x4 Amiga 4000T's in One!?

Operating WB3.1, HDMI/USB for video genlocking/Amiga keyboard/joystick, boxed and packaged, not to exceed the interior size of a standard mailbox?

$400.00 USD???
