Settlers from disk

Hi All
I have a 600 with

CF
aca68020
1mb expansion
2mb graphics mem, 11mb of other mem

As has been quite well documented on forums, WHDLoad version of 'Settlers' won't load with aca68020, you just get 'can't allocate expmem', due to memory allocation.
As this is a game I would like to play if possible on my system, I was wondering if anyone has loaded and successfully played Settlers from disk with an aca68020?
The reason I am asking is that I don't want to waste money buying the boxed game if it still doesn't work.

Any advice, cheers.

Use the normal Amiga DOS installer. It should work fine from HD then.
