So how about some feedback from everyone on these power supplies?
don't like the price? don't need cd32 psus? waiting for 500/600/1200 versions? Any feedback would be appreciated good or bad. Mech |

I've been waiting a couple of years for one of yours PSUs and I would be buying one (A1200), but yesterday I bought (received) another http://www.notebook-service.biz/bild.../EOS/VLT60.jpg
It costed 15€ second hand. I had to pay more than that for sending and customs though. In fact customs charged 16€ this time. And it seems to works very well with my BPPC system. I don't know if it could work better, as I've had to disable a fan. I've put it inside a black Commodore PSU case. I'm also very tight with money, but your price seems reasonable for what you make with them. |

I'm not in the market for this PSU as I haven't got a CD32 yet, but my opinion is that heavily expanded CD32s are few and far between, so that might explain why you haven't got an enthusiastic answer to this thread
![]() Add to that that if you haven't got an expanded CD32 you can just get along with one of those cheapo Molex 5V/12V power supplies with a simple Molex-to-DIN adapter ![]() I'm sure the A1200/A500/A600 versions will draw much more attention as there is quite a bit of readily available hardware to expand those with. |

thanks for the answers everyone, i am working on the 500/600/1200 version and should have them listed pretty fast.
i am trying to build a quality psu here, and i have went through close to 40 different ones and they didn't pass my scrutiny, many either had cheap caps(crappy brands or only rated 85c temps),lots of ripple(noise),or the overload/short protection was a joke(read non-existant). Input filtering is bad on so many also. When i finally did select the base unit,it was one that passed all my wants/needs and i feel it will last . unfortunately there are so many bad ones out there it is mind boggling. |
