The load sharing currently used seems to cause some problems at times.

The Devs are looking at updating the forum software and hardware - this will hopefully help.

I'm happy to help when I can but unfortunately even I can't always fix the problem.

Hello!

It seems I'm having similar issues on AmiBay.

I tried to sign up about a week ago, but my account was banned before approval, and I haven't yet heard back from the administrators after sending an email.

@davideo would you be able to help?

Hi,

I'm also having this issue, signed up a couple of months ago and was banned 6 hours later before I got home from work.

I too have tried several times over the last year or so trying to get on Amibay, with no success. Says it can't reach it's "anti-spammer database" to find out something.

Same here. Apparently I'm a "spammer". I don't think I ever registered with AmiBay, and didn't spam if I did. What is occuring? :-/

I'm not having a go at you. You're doing a wonderful job cleaning up this mess over the many years

...and it's no problem for me / EAB if people constantly post here for help regarding this.

It is a problem for you unfortunately (as you have to continually rectify the situation), AmiBay's reputation and legitimate customers though

Thing is; these Devs need to pull their finger out... this wouldn't happen on EAB as RCK would fix immediately.

I just don't get why this hasn't been rectified after sooooo many years?

Don't get me wrong, I am very grateful for your efforts. I just tried again, and once more recieved this:

Hey, still not going through - tried with google, firefox and even *gulp* Explorer... no joy.

It keeps giving the exact same response about not being able to reach a spam search - perhaps if the admin would shut that off or get that fixed then it would all work?

Again, not blaming you or anyone, just suggesting a possible solution.
