I would ask to have something like this "MemTweak" concept
A startup-sequence executable with a preferences program (that does not require either mui or classact) and has the followin features divided in section (which could be tabs in its prefs gui).
(like avail but with graphics, percentages, listing memory nodes names if they are 16 or 32 bit and their priority)
memory task tracker (with kill & remove option)
virtual memory (like gigamem)
addmem (adds no autoconfiguring memory)
defrag memory (can be programed to work in the backround when system load is low)
memory priority changer
disable faulty memory range
configurable alarm on low memory
Buffers & disk Caches (like dynamicache but with more flexible ram usage options)
read ahead cache
write behind cache
prepareemul (for shapeshifter)
fake memory node builder

A new gadget look'and'feel like of PalmOS (or Windows 10, if high color screens) and full use of color in the Workbench screen, like customizable pens for every kind of gadgets and windows in a nice preferences editor, like Windows 95 has one.
Going back to origins...
