You can certainly tell the difference in loading time just from the ADF to the Amiga CD32 version, sweet as! Been playing for the last hour

Genius! Would never have guessed that

The A1200/4000 versions were to include extra features including action replays, smoother animation, and a greater roster of characters in a match at any one point. The A1200/4000 version was also planned to be hard drive installable. If the game was installed to hard drive further enhancements were planned, which were removed from the floppy version due to excessive disk swapping.
So what were those enhancements and are they present?

I have only just seen this thread and because Galahad uploaded the full game to everyone more than 14 hours ago, it would be wasting my time to install it now.

Therefore I am officially stating that I will not be doing the WHDLoad install for this game, so anybody that wants to do it is welcome to it.

There are 2 files on disk2 and 1 file on disk 3 with the same name as disk 1 but have different sizes. Which ones to keep for HD Install?

Disk2:
goalies.bin
masklfont.ilbm

Disk3:
shadow.bin

Great job getting the game released!!
How about doing an actual boxed release of the game?

So tight-lipped about this game. I get the feeling that if we shoved a lump of coal up your arse that a diamond would pop out!

In all honesty, i simply dont know. Have been told if its becomes available, it will 'likely' come to me again as i had to bugfix the AGA version as it worked on WiNUAE but not a real A1200, so if the stars align, and there is time for it tl happen, then it will happen, but its not in my hands, and frankly, we were lucky to get the AGA version.

So long as the guy isnt hassled, it might happen, but hes VERY busy with real life job programming, and obviously other things are secondary.

I guess the Amiga finally has its best ice hockey game. Gave it a quick play and it seems pretty cool. I remember seeing it previewed back in the day - a lot of promising stuff was scrapped around 1995 - Battle Isle 2, The Big End, Atrophy, Final Over, Pizza Tycoon etc.

Is there a manual for this, or any form of documentation? I was just reading the Mega Drive manual and there's a lot of actions that can be performed but they use all three buttons on the pad, I'd be interested to see how they're mapped to two or even one button controllers.

If there isn't, I presume it'd be worthwhile putting one together if we can work out all of the controls for 1 button and 2 button play?

(If it's any interest, Sega manual is - http://www.gamesdbase.com/Media/SYST...ronic_Arts.pdf )

No worries mate, I was just trying to shake that diamond loose!

Hopefully the coder will find the time and do the common sense thing by handballing you the A500 version. It'd be a bit of a shame if the A500 version didn't see a release too after all this time.
