Question Blizzard 040 Accelerator

Not sure if this is the right place to post this.

Am looking for guidance on pricing for a Blizzard 040 accelerator. It has, or rather reports 24MB RAM and the cooling fan has come off of the CPU (the TIM glue failed due to age) but it still boots to WB just fine.

Anyone have any idea how much I could get for this ?

Judging by the silly prices most Amiga stuff now seems to go for, I'd guess you'll easily get £300+ for it

I don't think they make 24mb Simms so double check what is actually fitted. It might be that it also has the SCSI kit (and has 16+8mb fitted)

The SCSI kit will certainly add value. Prices on these fluctuate so much so best bet is to try and search Amibay and eBay for sold listings (for sale prices are no good - you want actual sold prices)

Good luck.

Don't use it for any length of time without the fan attached properly, 040s run very hot. Otherwise you will have a worthless pile of melted plastic
