HOL, why have you forsaken me?

Excuse the dramatics, but according to HOL both Lemmings 2 - The Tribes and Soccer Kid are hard disk install-able. But I'm finding they are not with the original disks.

Lemmings 2 is supposed to be install-able from disk 2 and Soccer Kid from the data disk. The former shows no executables and the latter is NDOS.

Is HOL wrong or am I practicing some core idiocy?

For Lemmings it actually says Disk 1 on HOL but I checked the SPS versions and sure enough there's no HD install on any of the disks...However an HD installer is present on disk 1 of the US release..

Haven't looked at Soccer Kid but again I suppose it all depends on what version you have.

edit: Actually for Lemmings 2 it says Diks 1

Yes, between the lovely Ginger Beard I've been having tonight and tge fact that this site isn't mobile friendly yet I've been making some typos! Thanks for the correction and help. I can make my peace with it now. I thought I had missed some trick.

Send a message via MSN to dlfrsilver
Lemmings 2 is not HD installable due to the copylock protection, and soccer kid can only be installed in its AGA version (use real files instead of NODOS disks for ECS).

Thanks dlfrsilver. And I'm finding the same again for James Pond II - Codename Robocod which shows as NDOS in workbench. Flashback however seems to live up to it's HOL entry in that it's not a NDOS disk.
