Anyone read "The Future was Here"?

http://mitpress.mit.edu/books/future-was-here

I got mixed reviews from this on Amazon, that the author is muddled about his praise and criticism of the Amiga and that it's mostly from the North American perspective.

But having just finished reading it, I quite liked it, and finally gave me closure about the Amiga, that it was great for the time but frankly, times move on and the Amiga was a major step closer to computing multimedia and we should see it like that.

I would recommend it, but I'm wondering if anyone else has read it and what do you think?

yes I've read it, i wasn't overly impressed with it to be honest. lots of information was missing and lots was simplified. Commodore on the edge was a better read.

I was hoping for an Amiga edition book from Brian bagnell but this has been cancelled.

about the Amiga ? no not really, its pretty much forgotten by writers.
Apple created the home computer and Microsoft made the Pc ...as far as people are concerned.

101 Amiga Games That Influenced The Gaming Industry Paperback – 5 Mar 2015

Amiga Format put together some nice books/magazines 'back in the day'

The 'Get the Most' series are good reads.

Dave Haynie's Deathbed Vigil is available on Amazon (on-demand) service too - nice (if sad) video to watch
