Fred get an old B&W g3 if you want to play old PPC Mac games, should be $50 or so.

Of all the systems I own (old Mac, PC, and Amiga) I find that the Amiga is the most expensive to upgrade anything on. I have old 68K Accelerators and other cards that were rare and very expensive new that cost less then a new Amiga mouse now!

While I can see why an old Amiga user wants to have the best of the best he could never afford, I can't see why he is willing to dump so much cash to do it and get so little out of it. Ever time I hear what people spend to play a half assed quake on their PPC Amigas I think they need to get their heads checked.

There are plenty of items I want and pass up because the money they cost is not worth it to me (emotion or not). Most people who "got to have it" let is collect dust and never use it, plus they just replace one "got to have it" with another anyway.

Besides sometimes the quest (and story behind it) is more fun then actually getting the item and not having it not live up to expectations. Collecting anything would suck if you had Bill Gates's money, its all just a check and shipping away, no real satisfaction or story to tell.

That is so true, especially when it comes to women.

Now, my Amiga aint gonna gather dust! I got two sons who pester me daily to show them a new Amiga game! Glad I got about 300 installed!

Also just cos I got the cash dont mean I got it easily... I worked hard for it, so what I spend it on I appreciate! - Woman (wife )included

I decided not to emulate anything else than C-64 on my Amiga, because PC simply has better emulators and better horsepower for them. But everything else on Amiga are welcome! Tweaking ...

PPC in an Amiga is great, for warming up your apartment in the winter!
