sadly not , its basically an Amos game and confined by that.

Backbone has no feature for this unless someone rewrites backbone.

i can add another 10 levels if anyone is interested. currently it has 10. I have lots of ideas for extra and hopefully funny levels but if no one plays it , i'll just add a completion screen and call it done.

uh. And here i thought i was going to have nice little easy 10 minute experience of playing it through.

well. It took me three games to just get past the first level. After that the rest felt suitably easy, but i had only one guy left, and as i failed on fourth level once, and annoyingly easy spot even. Well, it was game over then.

But it was otherwise quite nice. It did feel like those 8-bit era games i played as a kid and it had that same charm in it. But i would have wished for some sounds. Hope you going to add them at some point.

Ha ha glad you played it. People think it's too easy

There are sound effects but the music hides it and that's my excuse for not making new Sfx but I will next update

Probably the last update - its complete now.

Fifteen levels to play , power ups (life) and new music on each level.

16 different music tracks. hits from the 80s and game tunes from classic Amiga games. (not mine , found on the net)

1.3 mb in size , levels slightly tweaked.

So no more updates, its done. (probably)

i'll try it on my 4000 & 500 in a minute.

(2.1 level 3 music corrupt , sorry removed - download 2.2 )

AmiBay downloaded fine.

Final tweak:final.

16 music tracks , sound effects. two versions.

Easy - 8 lives , enhanced jump
Normal version 5 lives , standard jump height.

I have played through each level and each level is complete and works properly.
music plays on each level. The names of the level on two or three levels is incorrect in relation to the song but i don't mind that. guess the music track?

have fun.

Download these versions rather than earlier ones as they may not work in later levels.

if i get bored later i may do some mock adverts like of the time :-)

Fun game! Nice puzzles, re-uses, pathfinding, trial and error, everything's there. It also runs fine on my stock A1200+4MB. Glad to see you didn't give up backbone and made a game that feels complete. Thanks for making this!

I did find a bug though. In level 14, when you pick up the key, the game will crash to workbench with error: File not found. I used the version from Aminet and I encountered this in both the easy and final version (v2.5). I checked but the files of level 15 are there. It happens when I pick up the key, even when I haven't collected the other items yet.

This happened in WinUAE but I have it working now. It only crashes when I run workbench from floppy but when I run workbench from hard disk it runs fine and I can play level 15. First I thought it's missing a library but then the whole game shouldn't run and not just level 15. I'm clueless.

And bloody hipoonios! I wanted to make that longplay!
