RVF Honda - Link up?

This is a great game. Probably my favourite Amiga bike racer.
One thing always eluded me though, - did anyone ever get the data link option to work in RVF Honda?

Thanks S2325, I have the manual and followed that paragraph.

I have a serial cable which works perfectly with all the other link up Amiga games.
I am beginning to wonder if RVF needs a different cable or even a parallel port cable?

Maybe you need something like a Null modem adapter or cable for that game.
A null modem cable is a RS-232 serial cable where the transmit and receive lines are crosslinked.
Or if you have one, you need a normal RS-232 cable for that specific game only.
