I've learned coding even before i got a omputer for myself at all - it simply was too expensive. So i read BASIC books and when i get the chance to touch a real computer i hacked some crazy stuff into it to impress the next person looking at it, like sine waves and stuff.
When i got my first A500 i started with DPaint and BlitzBasic, the later provided a simple but easy to use ASM to start with; the debugger in BB those times was way cooooool....
