Video Toaster

Has or does anyone use Video Toaster for the Amiga 4000. Read that the system was made with this in mind.

As a secondary question, how many people are still currently using the Toaster, and is the Toaster still a relevant piece of hardware in 2014 (almost 2015)?

If you need to do only live switching in SD (old low-res) it is still useful.

For video editing? Absolutely not- it has been replaced by modern solutions for almost two decades.

I have a Toaster Flyer A4000T setup. I am just playing around with it but it still has some possibilities for real world video editing. It can only do SD video but it does it really well and it can do some really cool processing and effects. For SD video a Toaster Flyer system is about as good as it gets--it's an Amiga after all and not just a video recording system. We live in a mostly HD world these days so it isn't comercially useful but for purely artistic use, it still has some life in it.

A Toaster by itself is much more limited.
