I was thinking more Bruce Campbell as Robert Foster/Overman,
Sean Bean as Hobbins, Brian Blessed as Gilbert Lamb, and Don Johnson as officer Reich.

Christopher Lee - Zothen Runecaster
Sigorney Weaver - Megrim of Moonwych

Billie Piper - Eleanor of Avalon
Jim Carrey - Sethra Broghail

Neve Campbell - Roseanne Swifthand

Worms (To be called Wormz, for that cool factor. It will be a black comedy)

There will be four teams: The Heaviez, The Damez, The Teenz and The Funniez.

Here are The Heaviez:
(Bud Spencer, Dom DeLuise, Danny DeVito, Jason Alexander)

Here are The Damez:
(Judy Dench, Glenda Jackson, Vanessa Redgrave, Helen Mirren)

Here are The Teenz:
(Haley Joel Osment, Jodelle Ferland, Daniel Radcliffe, Dakota Fanning)

Here are The Funniez:
(Billy Connelly, Jerry Seinfeld, George Carlin, Peter Kay)

The standard weapons will be uzis and grenades.
And just to make things interesting, each team will have only one special weapon/tool:

Heaviez: Ninja Rope
Damez: Bazooka
Teenz: Power Punch
Funniez: Dynamite

I am negotiating with them all on the phone now and they like the script, especially the opening scene (which I will divulge if you sign a non-disclosure agreement).

Maniac Mansion was made into a series in the early 90's. It never went any further than U.S. though.

No way, cool

Did it have the same title? I wonder how closely it followed the game plot / storyline? I would like to check this out

It was terrible actually.

Damn, never saw this on Australian TV. I moved to London 7 years ago, I would have still been in Sydney when this was on... Must have been living under a rock or something

Anyway, from the review and your comments it didn't sound too good
