With today's announcement comes two incredible titles that are branded as some of the best Star War's games ever released; Star Wars X-Wing & Star Wars Tie Fighter. Play through many missions of space Star Wars combat, play as either the good guys or the bad guys and be immersed in CD-Rom goodness. This is Star Wars at it's best!

Regarding the (amazing) X-Wing games, the pictures would seem to indicate they are native Windows versions rather than Dos games with Dosbox wrapped around them?

I wasn't aware of such releases!

I remember snagging these back in 1997 when I first got my PC.

How well do these games play on modern PCs? For example, I used to play these with a joystick, but i wonder how well they play on a joypad instead.

I'm sure they play quite well that way, especially with a 360 controller with the sticks. A lot better than with keyboard + mouse which is the only way I've played them for now :/ Epic mouse dragging where the carpet on the floor is your mouse pad to be able to do a full 360 turn.

Didn't see this one coming: http://www.gog.com/news/new_publishe...ctivelucasfilm

Probably what MANY people have been waiting for, the X-Wing/Tie Fighter games are finally available!

Plus, they have Sam n' Max Hit the Road, Monkey Island Special Edition, Indiana Jones & the Fate of Atlantis, Knights of the Old Republic all avaible for immediate purchase

Cinemaware, pffftt, no competition

Note to Mod: Thanks for moving, thought it had been deleted
