When "Hermes" for the CD32 materializes then memory won't be a problem anymore.

That's a shame, I miss-read into it as leading to a proper release.

Anyone knows if Putty Squad should work from floppy drive with a CD32 + Analogic Floppy drive combination? Thanks!

they were produced in limited numbers (100) and only available with the Amiga book p.s. there was ONE left but it was alongside the £200+ pledge (Which no longer exists!).

Perhaps you can do some wheeling and dealing with Sam Dyer for the last copy!

Strange.

I was promised a boxed copy with no strings attached.

I guess thats not happening then.......hmmmm, must go over my PM history and have a little chat.

EDIT: Sam Dyer aka MrSID64, just checked my history and indeed he did promise me a copy.

Looks like a kickstarter to get Galahad a boxed copy then! Bit of a bastard when you do all that work and you don't get a copy!!

Agreed. If I promise something I either deliver that promise (even if it's later than originally planned), or I explain my reasons why I can't deliver said promise.

Ah, perhaps there will be more than 100 then! I don't get all this limited edition stuff, it just inflates prices and people lose out.

Spoken to Sam , and the book isnt even finished yet, so disks havent been produced yet either.

I aske him to show his head in here, perhaps if people are really keen for a physical copy of Putty Squad and there are not enough to go around, then you can convince him

Backers who have paid for the book and the physical copy of Putty Squad backed it with the understanding that it would be limited. I couldn't care less but other backers might mind that their physical copy might now be worth less due to more than 100 being available. I must admit tho I like the idea that I would have 1 of only 100 ever made.

Just so I'm not going mad I double checked...

£60 or more (has 50 backers)
THE BOOK AND LIMITED EDITION PUTTY SQUAD AMIGA GAME: You get the book in all it's full colour lithographic glory and also a limited edition boxed version of Putty Squad. Only 100 will ever be made of this amazing game.

£75 pledge or more (has 49 backers)
THE BOOK AND SIGNED LIMITED EDITION PUTTY SQUAD AMIGA GAME:

So that left the remaining copy of 1 which was on the highest pledge of more than £250.. which subsequently got removed? (I didn't much follow the Kickstarter after I made my pledge for the book)

Mark the 100 copies as a special limited edition exclusive to the book and have each box numbered, then have another run that just looks like a normal box you'd buy in a shop!

The pledgers get their own unique numbered box that's tied to the book that's marked as a limited edition, wouldn't those 100 copies still be unique and valuable?

I'm still keen to get a boxed copy but I don't understand all this pledge stuff, just a link to a store to buy the game and I'd be happy!

He he, I pledged the kickstarter Putty box, one of 100, and it was very quickly sold out. I think the best way how to satisfy everybody would be another boxes run, that would be something like "budget release", different to those original big boxes.
