He probably gave up after getting the usual bickering and bashing that goes on here and on other Amiga forums.

This is crazy, I had not heard of this, and seeing the exchange makes me sick. He had all the right to be annoyed.

We're one FPGA board less now. Great.
Would have loved to see this one go through.

KC, if you are still reading, maybe, come back!

PS: G*nnar wasn't mocked, he got angry and insulted everyone, earning him a temp ban.

You don't just post about a work-in-progress Amiga related project without a bunch of besserwissers telling you how you should do it.

Seems to me that the only way to introduce anything is to make it in secret and then show it once it's ready.

Even then people will berate the project, pointing out all the "mistakes"...

Sadly agree.
Although by developing something "in secret" would relieve oneself of some of the unnecessary shit.

Sure that happens a lot. But eventually it needs buy in from the community and without encouragement we will look after our families or do something more profitable on a personal level

Someone is making a new FPGA board called MiSTer and it's cheap because it's based on a commercial board. The developer is very skilled. Worth watching
