I am very interested in both A500 and A1200 versions. Is this going to work also on Kickstart 1.2 A500, or might have problems because of the lack of support for autoboot?

Dear Gunnar,

When I have read about this project, I was sure that was a Natami sequel, because I was on the Natami forum during years to see your works and progress and shared some ideas too.
I'm really happy to see that board will come true, because it is the more amazing improvement for the Amiga community since it exist. The board that everybody should dream 20 years ago. (Apple too XD)
I know that your technical choices are always good because your team is hi-qualified around the Amiga technology.
So, thank you for making it for users. They should trust you!

I have only one question about the amazing Super-AGA RTG.
Is, the HDMI connector allow to output the Amiga standard screens modes from boot?
I suggest that is possible, because your graphic core should handle OCS and ECS modes, but I have not read this information.

Good luck in the final stretch!

TotO.

EDIT:
OK, I have just seen the boot screens from ROMs 1.3 and 3.1.
So, that should means... YES.

So while we're all drooling over a potentially 200mhz Amiga, what's the skinny on the onboard video? What are the video modes? How much RAM does the "video card" have? Or does it borrow from Chipmem? Etc.

128 megs of Chip RAM potentially. (Or at least that's the plan.)

Would this replace the Indivision ECS or work with it in some way?
Can't believe this thing would make my A1200 68060 obsolete, good job I have an A500+ :-)
If all claims are true, some really exciting times ahead!!

Nothing, because at the moment it looks like it won't be appearing. Time will tell.

I never understand why anyone would announce the imminent arrival of a product until they have a working prototype, or at the very least have a past history of successful products under their belt. They just piss people off when the vapourware doesn't appear, and ruin their own reputation in the process....

This has happened many times in the post Commodore Amiga era.

Exactly! Nothing new here if it does disappear. It would be a shame though, a working prototype has been shown so all I can put it down to is firmware problems. Trouble is, it's this problem that's stopped a lot of things from been released in the past.

It is still being worked still at the core. This works not as desired, and it certainly needs quite a while. The hardware also exists , but is probably again get a redesign. ( Optimization )

First, however, the core of the Vampire is completed , then the Apollo Phoenix. So is the current plan as far as i know.

Thomas Hirsch is still on speaking terms with the Apollo team. Who says that the Natami is vapor?
