WinUAE mouse problem

Hello Toni,

Just got me a new laptop and I thought I'd have a go at The Settlers, my all time fave. The mouse seems to be getting stuck on occasion as if it's finding a screen edge. After a bit of mouse waggling it seems to sort itself out.

If you recall, to scroll the screen in The Settlers you hold the right mouse button down and move the mouse. The mouse stays still while the landscape pans. Sometimes the scrolling just stops and on releasing the right mouse button the mouse seems to have hit a wall.

I've tried WinUAE in various modes windowed / full screen / different filters / directdraw / direct3d and it doesn't seem to make a difference. This was with a recent build (June 2012?) and I've just tried the latest build (2.80).

The laptop is Win7 / 64.

Thanks!

Try switching mouse type in Game Ports panel from "Windows mouse" to another type (it may be labeled as "RAW Mouse" or "HID compliant mouse" or something similar, depends on hardware and drivers)

(It shouldn't happen with "Windows mouse"..)
