There were 3d glasses for the Amiga back in the 80's.

They were simple LCD shutter type glasses called "X-specs".

Worked with a regular CRT or TV.

The only thing I remember are these:amigahistory->virtualio

Only Gloom Deluxe and the Nemac IV Director's Cut CD support it.

The only game that I could find, that used anaglyph glasses, was "Wanderer 3D".

I used a pair of borrowed shutterglasses back in the late 90s with a 60Hz monitor on a PC.
I can tell you from that "experience" that it was no fun to watch a lowres picture flicker like hell at 30FPS!!!
Don't expect to much from the Amigas PAL/NTSC output.Maybe a gfx-card at 100Hz could change that but than you need a 3D chip onboard and a really fast CPU to get steady 100FPS,too.

I found a set of red/blue 3D specs the other day in a big book about Mars. Is there a list of games/demos that use this type of 3D effect. I've seen a couple of demos that look like they did but I can't remember which ones.

Spaceballs State of the Art has a brief section for 3D glasses - flips between red/green and red/blue if memory serves.

As cool as 3D support in WinUAE would be,I don't think Toni will get his hands dirty for only a few games.
But who knows...
I would like to play NEMAC IV in 3D.

If I had to chose between 3D and other features I would vote for stuff like better tablet support for example.

Not worth the trouble. "Real" 3D output would require:

D3D 11 support, previous versions didn't have stereoscopic 3D support. 3rd party programs that create 3D output from older D3D (or OpenGL) won't work because emulator output is in 2D, there is no actual 3d objects that can be "easily" converted to stereoscopic 3D.

It would also practically require extra vsync mode to sync emulator output to correct display output channel.

That actually looks great with the glasses, would be cool to see it all in motion. If that was done photoshopomatically I guess you could process all the frames of an emulator output capture to see it.

Spaceballs cube didn't seem very effective to me, will have a look at those other games, but my glasses don't have legs.

That list is incomplete: I see that Wanderer 3D is for "Amiga, Atari ST".
They forgot to add "Sinclair QL": it also had Wanderer 3D.
Someone should correct that... (I don't know how to do it )

WOW!
Is that a single edited screenshot, or does exist a custom anaglyph version of Lionheart?
