Phantaisie 3 disk protected trouble

Hello,

I'm playing Phantasie 3 and everything was fine until today when I've started having this message when trying to save :

When I press a key the message comes back over and over again.

The interesting thing is I did not check the 'disk protected' box in the settings. I actually never changer the settings since i've started playing Phantasie 3. It worked perfectly until today.

Please help me

Perhaps this needs validation? (due to crash/exiting emulation before all data was saved). It is quite bad idea for game to save to the game disk..

Boot WB normally and insert the disk, wait until disk activity stops, open CLI window and type c:info, does it say disk is read/write or something else?

The Phantasie III ADF (at least, the one I looked at) doesn't have an L/Disk-Validator file. With Kickstart 1.3 and earlier that means if it becomes unvalidated, AmigaDOS can't validate it so prevents writing to it.

Typically a disk is not validated if you reset or remove the disk too soon after a write has completed. AmigaDOS updates the root block a couple of seconds after the write completes.

Suggestions to fix:
- Boot a Workbench disk and insert the Phantasie III ADF. It will be validated.
- Copy L/Disk-Validator from your Workbench disk to the Phantasie III disk. If in future its bitmap is invalid the disk will be validated automatically.

Thank you very much guys but I think I know what happened.
Phantasie 3 and anti piracy securities. It asks you questions about the game time to time such as : what is the required strenght to use a bastard sword ?

If your answer in incorrect it goes black screen, you can't do anything else, and the necessary game info saving can't happen, that's why it had read write errors.

I have noted every answers to these questions down so if any one of you is interested Pm me
