Blizkick Modules with RemAPollo?

I've read that Blizkick modules can be used with RemAPollo.
I've tried a few, but no success.

Are there some that work, some that don't?
If so, which modules work, and are useful?

not real help, but some (usefull) information:
you already got the latest RemApollo 1.8? was once uploaded into the zone, but cannot find on the fileserver. just ask daxb for the version 1.8.

this 1.8 version can handle 1MB ROMS, so you can build you own rom using Remus and Romsplit. Remus can use Blizkick modules and build a whole rom, which you can use with RemApollo 1.8. - so nomore toying with single patches

Remus tutorial: How to make 1MB ROM

Thanks mate, I have RemAPollo 1.8 had tried the 1mb kickstart route with it, but had no success. Seems nobody has figured out how to build a 1mb rom image that is compatible with 1.8, and the author can't remember. Has also lost docs and sources.

Shame.

I didn't bother making a custom ROM when I had my Apollo, I just used RemApollo to load up my ROM updates + selected BlizKick modules. You end up with the same thing anyway (ie. a patched custom 3.9 ROM in FASTRAM).

I've still go my Apollo start-up sequence someone, I'll try and find it for you.

Off the top of my head you should try SpeedyIDE and also the one that moves your exec.library to FASTRAM.

There is a blizkick to remapollo module converter in the remapollo archive you may try. The only blizkick module I use is the "romfixes" but loaded with ROM (build with Remus). I think the most modules you do not need and I fear speedup improvements would be no as high as you might think.

This is my old Apollo startup sequence (again, this is for 3.9 + Boing Bag updates, no reboot needed).

I'm not using SpeedyIDE here because I'm using the patched scsi.device that already has it built in.

Thanks NovaCoder,

The strange thing is, it's not a million miles from what I'm already using.
No Blizkick modules either eh.

I'll close this avenue of investigation if they don't make a significant difference....
