It's hard to diagnose without access to your setup, are you able to zip it up and upload it somewhere?

Uploaded an "interim" release to here:

https:///#!tN40yCTT!Llt0Af...S_CBTD9nMMOykA

Since it's only interim not every game has correct screenshots, credits+instructions etc.

New games include:

Fifa International Soccer
Stunt Car Racer
Watchtower
Testament
Testament 2
Aunt Arctic Adventure
Woodys World
Dyna Blaster
Bonanza Bros
Blues Brothers
Batman Returns
Speed! Demo (Yep, works well Lentivector! I forgot to include instructions on the disk but use forward/reverse for jump and sprint, red for 3D and blue/green/yellow to set screen size)
Super Street Fighter II Turbo
Super Sprint
International Karate
Rocketz
Xenon

Another world and Stunt Car Racer TNT is fixed. Bratwurst has been taken out.

Fifa doesn't appear to work on a real CD32, I'll see what I can do to get it working.

I was going to include Super Street Fighter 2 DX on the compilation but it would have required changing the ISOCD settings (which in turn would make the other games on the compilation slower). I had also incorrectly assumed that the version available for CD32 was not working, but it was only because I had misinterpreted the splash screen instructions (you have to hold down RED until the console reboots and the Capcom screen appears)

In any case, SSF2DX is good enough to warrant burning an ISO by itself, so I've done one here:
This has the relevant credit to Viddi you said you would give?
whitesnake had nothing to do with it and the original iso "worked"

Point out Whitesnake did no work on the graphics or anything else and youve fixed nothing.

Edit: This is incorrect, the version on the file server works

Hi Boo Boo,

Apologies, I forgot to update the readme as per our discussion.

As I mentioned in the support thread I couldn't find a version that worked. The "1.1" version that I found (I couldn't find a 1.0) boots on a cd32 but doesn't go past the splash screen.

Do you still have the original somewhere? If so I'll take down my version.

If not, then I admit I didn't do much on the iso other than edit the startup-up sequence and experiment with the isocd settings per your suggestion until I got it to work (using up my time and cdrs), but if it's unfair to credit myself as having "fixed" the only version I could find then how should I credit myself?

The two iso's I could find on the file server for SSF2 DX are:

and

The former won't go past the custom splash screen on a real CD32, the other appears to have not been created with a trademark file and won't boot at all.

I cant reply anymore they both seem to work on real CD32 - There is nothing to stop you grabbing the disk images from where ever and just burning them to disc etc.

The one from the Xmas Tree is corrupt for whatever reason as you can see by the file size.

Apologies, you were right - I misinterpreted the instruction on the splash screen, when it said "Hold" I assumed it meant "Hold until the slash screen goes away" not "Hold until the console restarts and the game loads".

I'll update my posts to that effect, thanks.

How long are you planning to release versions?

I mean, how long to wait for the final version

Definitely no plan for a final version yet, though I have plans for at least 40 more games! I'll let you know when I'm going to give up.

Regarding FIFA. I see you use adfs. HD installed version work for me the way someone already described. When it writes cant load mod you keep up pressing red on second joystick(port 1 I think) and you can actually play the game.

Is SSF2NC supose to run on your latest realease? Cause disc boots always to your menu no matter if I hold red or blue during booting.

MK1 does funny thing it resets when you press down+right+red during fight.

And just a note IK ST is unplayable on real cd32, it is slow as amigear, I don't even know if I started to play at all or it was just a demo.

Hi Cobe,

As above, I left it out because it would have made every other game on the compilation slower to load, it's best to play Viddi's standalone release:

I had also incorrectly assumed that the version available for CD32 was not working, but it was only because I had misinterpreted the splash screen instructions (you have to hold down RED until the console reboots and the Capcom screen appears)
For whatever reason I couldn't get Fifa to run from HDD so I needed to go with ADFs, only for them to not work when I compiled the ISO. I figured it was just something dumb I had done like not include the drivers in the CD. I'm almost certain I'll be able to get it working in the next release.

Regarding IK, it has speed settings (that you select with the keyboard from 1-6, fastest to slowest). 4 "felt" right in WinUAE (emulating 68020 speed) so I made it so it sets it to speed 4 when you hit the fire button, but I guess on real hardware it would be more appropriate to use a faster speed. I'll give it a test sometime.

Have you had a look at the Speed! demo?

Edit: Regarding MK1, I'll look into it thanks. Hopefully it's just the NOVBRMOVE tooltype that needs to be set.

I looked but I can't say nothing specific. As I don't know it from before I didn't know what to expect. And it was also confusing. I would say the demo started and then maybe I joined and then even some strange RGB effect happend(something like every color layer shifted left or right for itself...

A few games fooled me also in WinUAE. Even when you select accurate 100% 68020 they run faster. Also beside the games that work in WinUAE and not on real hardware there are games that don't work in WinUAE but work on real hardware. I think that with FIFA HD in WinUAE I wasn't able to pass the menus of the game but on real cd32 it works. Can't remebre now more examples... Final fight, joe and mac maybe...

Back to your cd Mikro Mortal Tennis won't load.

And for curiosity If you're interested I tried Big Red Adventure on cd32, installed, made bootable, added fakemouse. In WinUAE everything works. On real cd32 also like FIFA can't load mods but you can play it without music. And you can choose from what part of the game you want to start so even without saves it's playable I would say.

@earok and other's in this thread. Do not link directly to files on the FTP Server, you have done this many times. We don't want it closed, does we?

No body told me the FTP Server was a hush hush thing! I'll go through and purge my links when I have time.

@cobe Thanks, I'll check out Big Red Adventure, also I'll have a look at the Mikro Mortal Tennis issue.

Anyone knows of a similar project, but for the CDTV. Unfortunately, my CD32 is dead...

@saturndual in theory the compilation should boot on a cdtv. In practice I suspect only a few of the games will work in 1mb. That said I would be willing to look at including OCS versions of some of the AGA titles (rally championships, xp8 etc) which may work, and if you can do me a list of games that work I could do a special cdtv menu in the next release.
