I don't think the source and mastering files have been given to anyone. System 3's just not the company that would give such things away. I think Twiddy will do it himself because he's the man. All this talk that nobody knows how to build it is not very believable. It's just been 20 years.... Twiddy spent so much time programming the 68000 and making Amiga builds, he'll be able to get into this again. Maybe he's currently just busy or lacking the hardware but I'm pretty convinced that if there'll ever be a build, it'll be made by Twiddy and not by some mysterious members of the community.

Wait until enough (?) money is made.
Find a pathetic excuse (most likely blame it on the 'members of the community') why the Amiga version can't be released.

My 2 cent anyway.
Maybe a bit unlikely. Amiga fans wouldn't buy the remake until the original was in their hands and System 3 must realise that.

Also they must be thinking of the long term strategy. There needs to be a System 3 after Putty PS4. It would be crazy to throw away fans for one sale.

As skeptical as I feel about the whole thing . There's no benefit in stringing us along at this point.

What's interesting is the pictures of the disks show a 3 disk game, yet all the previews that had the game back in 1994 list it as a 2 disk game. (Although from memory I did see one that mentioned 3 disks come to think of it, but can't find it of course!) Hmmm...

Well, it's good to see that people still hope for it to happen. I'll happily eat my words if it'll be released (no matter how slim the chances are)

If they are going to give it away for free why didn't they do it before they released the new game ? Wouldn't that have been better publicity than saying they are going to release it in a collectors collection then not doing it ? If they really wanted to give the game back to the amiga community why have they waited so long ?

Well my guess is either Photon or Stingray has got the gig if its anyone on EAB, i'm surprised no ones let the cat out of the bag, but if thats the price we pay to see the game, then i'll be happy to find out when (if) it gets released.

Assuming its not Photon or Stingray, wasn't there volunteers on Amiga.org as well? Are there any capable peeps on there?

I think most of the people on Amiga.org are amateurs to be honest, it's surely one of the top crackers like MethodGit!

Incidentally I think Mark has blocked me on facebook, I can't even like their Putty Squad post! Or is it like that for everyone? I wonder why he didn't like my posts anymore than anyone elses?

No offence to anyone on here but maybe its in the hands of someone not actually on these boards!? And doesnt want to be harrassed with messages until the job is done.
Plus the fact now it has nothing todo with pre orders now and the ps4 version is out, gives System 3 no other reason to carry on these 'lies' (if they were) its more bad publicity than good imo.

I don't have any Putty Squad sources. And to be honest, I don't think anyone else in the "Amiga community" has. Let's wait and see, time will tell.
