Right, WinUAE has link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=56513 which still works fine.

Not anymore Toni! Installed WinUAE today on an old PackardBell Win7 laptop, and got the message about the need to install aditional Direct9 components via that link above...

Give it a go people, and see 4 uselves how it now redirects to...:

https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/soft...load/windows10

Hahaha, this company is such a joke... (NB. needless to say, you won't necessarily be redirected to PRECISELY that link, depending on your localization settings -- I'm (unfortunately!) on a french Windows here)

Only correct link I could find (raking sum older EAB threads) is to the webinstaller (I hate webinstallers...):

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...s.aspx?id=8109 this is the link to the redistributable package, if you don't like webinstallers.

Thanks Thalion. I'll keep that on the side for the next time I need it.

Just saw Toni pushed the release date for 3.2.0 to october (should take the opportunity to update the link -- who knows? Microsoft might not decide to move everything around on their website again before a while... Cause I'm a dreamer and some say miracles do exist... )

Another method to get a complete direct x is taking it from a games CD/dvd. If you have a newer game just have a look, they mostly come with a complete Direct X package.
