Commodore Wavetable Soundcard

I was browsing for a wavetable daughterboard when I came across this:


I had no idea this existed, although, I'm still trying to decide whether this is indeed a genuine Commodore product.

I never heard of this, either..

also, claiming it is "brand new" is stretching it.. maybe unused, but new!? no way, this card is from the 90's, if real..

No can't be new, they are indeed genuine but from around 1995. They are based on a Aztech card design with a Crystal chipset. Search around and you will still find Windows 95/98 drivers for them.

Look at Commodore flag colours - should be red and blue, not only red. Fonts are also wrong type. This is strange but maybe it still can be device from Commodore.

I think it was Escom that brought them out if memory serves correct. Probably wasn't many made before they went bankrupt.


Also the drivers were pretty crap that came with it, and Aztech's own drivers wouldn't install properly for it because it had a different vendor ID.
