EDIT: Strange, back in the day I had a 209Mb HDD which was more than ample, I guess the adf's are being stored via HDD now, so that'll probably be part of the reason, still 4.35Gb is a tad large for Amiga data :s
Depends on what data really. That can be only 2 or 3 games Feeble Files + Nightlong is 7cds worth for example.

Probably not really worth posting as beyond that there's no real point, I just slept the evening away and am now having trouble sleeping. Not a lot else to do at 2.45am other than over-using forums

That's a point I'd like to talk about. Do you trust cloud storage? Because I don't. Specially with "borderline" stuff like ADFs etc. and with personal stuff.

I don't trust cloud storage when it comes to personal data. But anything else is ok, assumming you can affor the 'extra' storage you need or what. How is storage of ADF's 'in the cloud' boarderlining?

I don't trust cloud storage too when talking of sensible/personal data.
A solution can be WinRAR or 7zip or similar utilities: you can compress and password-encrypt the data before uploading, but it's time-consuming if files are very large. And not so practical.
Also, free cloud storage is not so big (max 25 GB?).

I prefer local storage, with mirror backups and each copy kept in different places (in case of fire or thiefs etc.)

haha, a lot of my data is huge video files - a lot have been there for years and I rarely watch them.... so I'm slowly working my way through it all.

Down to 720GB of data now. The Amiga stuff I have is actually 4GB! How did I get to that much?! I need a secretary for this!!

Storage.... 4x2TB Seagate's in a ReadyNAS NV+. NetGEAR's "RAID-X" system, pretty much a basic RAID 5 setup, 6TB storage.
6x500GB in the PC i'm using.. RAID 10 configuration. 1.5TB storage space.
Critical stuff on a external 1TB WD drive thats only used for adding or removing stuff from the drive, and spends the rest of the time shut down.

And of course... Duplicate CF's for the Amiga it self.

But i got no real backups.

I keep mine stored on the floppies, then hard drive and finally on the server at work, my boss asked what "Amiga" was as didnt know the name, told him it is just one of the computers we use needed a file storage area. Its always good to know that the head of IT actually knows very little and leaves it up to me lol.

Synology 412+ with 4 3TB raided (5) disks.

I use Amiga Tradecenter or simple shared folders to access the files from my Amiga´s.
