Wanted: GVP Impact A500 HD8+ Series II Controller

I'm tired of running out of space on my SupraDrive 500XP

GVP has a great reputation. Looking for a Impact A500 HD8+ Series II controller, with-or-without RAM, and with-or-without an actual hard drive (of course, with both would be ideal).

Hi there,

I'm just going through a pile of Amiga stuff I have been given, and have exactly such a unit,in it's original box. It's marked as "the official UK version" but I am sure a 110v to 240v step up would sort the power issue out. From what I can see it has a 52mb HDD and an 8mb ram board, although I am unsure as to how much is actually on the board.

Hello Mat,
Thank you for the reply but I was able to find an 240mb SCSI drive and successfully replace my 40mb drive with it. I was even able to add 8mb memory on the controller. But I do appreciate you contacting me about this. I will update my original post accordingly.
