I finally completed D/Generation AGA

As it's always been in the past 25 years, my summer holidays are largely dedicated to Amiga gaming. A while ago, I finally finished this insanely difficult gem! Absolutely brilliant arcade adventure. Perhaps second best only to the unparalleled Flashback. Naturally, I did it using WinUAE savestates and even then it wasn't easy at all.

I generally do not like isometric view, but it didn't bother me at all in this case. Great action shooter with a good story to keep you interested. So intense trying to shoot all enemies without killing the hostages or destroying computers that held useful information!

This is an excellent game, a true classic. I'm personaly very happy to own it in ECS and AGA flavour

Well done Alkis. I like D/Generation too. I've played it in the past and I've done a big progress but never had time to finish it. Really atmospheric game.

If you hack the game to have infinite lives that's cheating.

Totally. I may be a purist when it comes to adventure games, but I love those save states for everything else... The only reason I use WinUAE over a real Amiga is when I want to play a game to the end by cheating.

I don't know about the AGA version of the game, but the CD32 version has save states normally through the game.
