Yup, that's what I've been saying for quite a while now

I want that s-ATA board... But damn... We haven't heard anything about it since, have we? Thats 2.5 years. He's got to focus on the profitable stuff, things to keep the world around him happy, and as such, him able to venture in to side efforts like Amiga gear. I'm quite certain he's not exactly buying a new beamer with the money from the Amiga stuff, so if he has other things he needs to put some priority to, i'll live with that. I do wish the Indivision MKII was more "user friendly" and had a more "auto configure" approach to the software, but i guess the bottom line is that there is just to many different setups, making everyone happy is hard.

No idea, but if he releases the new one, actual users of the old idefix will sell theirs... including me .

So that sounds like a NO then!

Very cool indeed. Any mentions of a target price anywhere? Since the birthday is 32 or $20 in hex as he writes, does that also mean the price will be $20? One can dream.. My guess is not below 100.

I'm hoping one of the things he's still considering regarding to the video output is to add some a modern output type, maybe even HDMI or DP. Maybe as an optional extra as it would push the price up a bit to add an A/D converter to generate the digital output signal.

;- )

Way cool. Got to keep an eye on this, seams like a neat toy.

Same, it's brilliant but even in the land of wildly overpriced C= gear (Australia) I can buy 2 working c64's for that and have loads of spares for my beloved '84 breadbin!

Jens, I'm sure you've done your best to keep costs reasonable, but I'm sorry to say I can't justify spending that kind of money on a new c64 mobo, perhaps if you'd extended the feature set to include jiffy dos, true high speed serial, full dual sid and some 1541u2 style features (with microSD reader etc) it would be easier to justify for many of us.
