Churchill Canada huh? That's some trek for the mailman. I once followed the railtrack out there on google maps for some reason. Nothing but lakes 'til Winnipeg. Epic journey, even on a computer screen!

I will continue to post off topic remarks until you reveal your cunning plans

Well, it's a kinda landscape an old worlder like you or I can't even conceive of, like the endless Russian steppe or the merciless Sahara. God knows it musta took some hard men to build a railroad through it.

Yah, i won't catch the train to Winnipeg, over 40 hours (if the train doesn't derail). The maximum speed for the northern part of the journey is about 40kmh due to the ground shifting (permafrost is starting to melt), there is no road into town so the only way out is train or plane.

2 of the 5 projects

Hi All,

Heres a pic of 2 of the new projects that i have just completed...

New internal CF - IDE adapter and the HDMI adapter for the MKII Indivision card.

Ignore the yellow and red wires, they are from my old svideo adapter i removed for the HDMI. (I might redo the HDMI board later on to include the SVideo too . The 2 wire connector is for the L & R Audio inputs to the HDMI board. I didnt add the 2 pin header to the board yet (Its available on the board, i just left it off until later.

k, i told of 3 of them, the new angled internal CF-IDE card for the A600 and A1200 that shouldn't interfere with other addons (you can see it in the video with the HDMI adapter for the MKII (which is the 2nd project). Third is the PSX adapter that's about 3 - 4 weeks away.
Fourth and fifth are just simple little extenders for A500, A600 and A1200 that have a little circuit on them that allow the mouse or joystick to have autofire (switchable). The A600 is designed so that it will allow regular 9 pin winged connectors. and i made one that's self contained so you could use it as a dummy burglar alarm for cars, home etc. Nothing too fancy, hopefully just practical for those that may need something

No, it's an adapter to let you connect a Dual Shock PlayStation controller to the Amiga's Joystick port.

I would like to buy you an Ide-Cf adapter. I wish you would have some place to order. I don't know if I'll have the money when you'll have them or if you take too long if I'll think in another solution.

Hi Retrofan,

I do have both types of CF - IDE adapter, just msg me when you want to order. It would be worth while waiting until the HDMI adapter is ready to go so you eliminate double shipping costs if you still want the HDMI adapter

Do you have the Indi to try yet? I've sent you a PM. When do you think you'll finish and start sending the Hdmi adapters?

I have the indy MkII installed, i don't have a monitor that will support the HDMI signal the MKII currently outputs. I get signal not supported msg on both monitors so it looks like i have to wait for the final cores to be released.

I Have a couple of HDMI adapters already built but obviously not displaying anything yet so i really do not want to ship them out until they are proven to work. I am sure they are good but i always like to test each piece b4 committing to shipping. I am starting to build the final HDMI and PSX cables now so once i have some done i will start through the lists.

It will be the same here and everywhere. It's like when you father was collecting stamps. That was what they were collecting that time. Now we don't like stamps, but old games and consoles. If you want to buy now an accelerator you know what I mean. Some games are very cheap by now. Try in 3 years. Yes, you can play them in your Pc or using Whdload in your Amiga... But what about the box, instructions and the floppy? Perhaps you will like to have them... and pay.

I had all the magazines of Micromania from the beginning, but I lost them (can't remember when). Now they are priced $$$
