Should of used colorize in Hue/saturation, it would of left the highlights as white... Like the one I did in 2 seconds

Sorry if I stepped on your toes a bit there spannernick, but when you know what to do I do like to give people a little nudge now and again... of course you could of always selected red only and changed that to blue like this one

This is amazing. I'm going to use this last (and the original in another Cf). Thanks.

Edit: I have to try when I can how it looks with 16 colors with Rebel's palette in my Amiga/ACA. Perhaps it can look good for others with 8 even.

You are true. Must be the size, although it's the same of the other in red and there it's right. I will take a look to change it.

Oh, sorry I would like to try 1280x1024 ...

Retrofan, your earlier pic has an aspect ratio of 4:3 where as the one you just posted is more likely to be 16:9 and that's why it appears squashed.

EDIT: Spannernick my friend, that second image is one of bLAZER's masterpieces, nice of you to share it with us

You are true, don't need another size. I must have changed something, as the red one is looking the same as the blue now. Will see tomorrow. Now I'm tired... I've been trying in my A1200/ACA... apart of all the problems that I have from time to time and that have returned... bad blokid ... it had to be xxx and it says it's xxy ... (REEDIT: I've been reading and as long as I've tried SFS and PFS3, both with the same results, now I'm thinking it's just caused not by the ACA but by the HD (CF) ribbon cable, so I will try changing it.) I've had to reinstall another virgin Cf . Well... it doesn't look so good in 16 colors.

Spannernick yes, it's a real desktop A1200 (although I've put it too in Amikit in my homemade C64x PC, and I recommend you to install it, it's great). Just using an rtg and some things like AfA_OS... that also gives me problems, in this case trying to read a Cf using the Pcmcia... Edit: Oh, yes, the icons are from AmigaSys

Edit: Just to comment that this wallpaper is really nice, and it hasn't lost quality changing to blue. If you haven't read the comments of the autor here they are:
"My newest backdrop. Updated and now rendered natively in 1600x1200. All lower resolutions have been scaled down from this one. It's a new version with almost no raydiosity noise in it. I let it render for 28 hours more. Enjoy!"

Edit: I think it's nicer now:

What are your specs and what resolution do you use?

I will edit here another with SGrab, as it looks better that way (although I can't show the clear menus).

You (whoever makes it) can copy "Commodore OS" (vision) from here:

http://www.commodoreusa.net/CUSA_OS_Vision.aspx

and change it.

It can be very easy if you just cut "Vision". I preffer to call it "my own C64x", as you and I can't give enough publicity to "C64k" for a custom made C64...x...or a Keyrahred one.

Or you could just create your own official "COMMODORE 64" graphic using Illustrator and add it yourself

I drew the 'Commodore 64' badge from the original computer as a vector, in illustrator, some time back, so I just used the text from that,
but unfortunately it doesn't have the 'K' and I can't be arsed to make an attempt to replicate something as a guess, besides this is how
it should really look, never mind the fancy fonts

Anyway, the boing ball belongs to the Amiga and not the C64, so why do you want to spoil that awesome image with text?

All artwork and 3D renders © Michael Englyst http://www.englyst.eu/

How do you do that, man? I don't understand, it's a png image, not gif, and I lose the effect copying it to another place.

Oh thanks, I see.

Edit: Can you believe it? If you try to save it with Internet Explorer you can't save it as gif, but with Google Chrome you can without problems.

In fact you can use Dreamscene in Xp with this program: http://xpscene.softonic.com/

Don't know. I prefer Windows 7, but I like to leave some Pc or laptop with Xp, and with 32bit you won't be getting much more.

You can have an idea about how is to have a video as wallpaper in Xp selecting demonhellraiser's gif image too (well, it has't much quality, it looks like a Tv in b/w) http://i.imgur.com/26yHH.gif . This is an example of things that are better in Xp. You can use a gif as wallpaper, and in Windows 7 you can't, or you can put the music you like at the beginning and in Windows 7 is very very difficult. You can use this gif in Xp too:

If you decide to use the video he did as wallpaper he has to post it, as it isn't mine.

Edit: You can have a nice screensaver too: http://www.kephyr.com/c64screensaver/index.phtml

Edit: Enclosed is some sound from the movie WarGames (1983). You can use this as sound to play while openning Windows. This isn't a rar file, change it to wav (it's just I coudn't upload a wav file):

lol, you've only changed the title within the thread, you can't change what it says in the forum index, it will stay as "Amiga Ball Wallpaper Blue' . That can only be changed by either a global mod or the forum mod if there is one

Of course, the forum is titled 'Amiga Scene', so don't hold your breath for it to change to that

Yep, I think that as long as you opened the thread you can talk about your C64"k" or emulation in Xp or what you like, in this case about wallpapers or booting pictures.

Btw another thing you can do is to boot directly without any picture or Windows message, but I don't remember where did I read that.
