Core Design had an especially bad record with this (and, not unrelatedly, A1200 compatibility). By the later years almost everything was installable (SWOS was a rare exception, but the loading there wasn't too bad). As for Wizkid I remember the demo taking forever to load, but don't remember being bothered by the loading times of the real thing, and I did complete it in the end.

I think EVERY Amiga game has suffered, post 1991 with the introduction of IDE as standard in machines, from not being able to be hard drive installable. A bit pointless to have an Amiga with a hard drive when you couldn't do anything but install productivity software and data files on it. I always hated that fact that I couldn't install most games.
