Small issue with default floppy image files extensions
Hi,
When selecting a floppy disk image, the default extensions shown in the file requester include .pkd.gz files (PackDev image compressed with gzip), but don't include .pkd files. So you need to select All files (*.*) to show .pkd files. |

It is not a bug. I have never seen ".pkd" extension used so it isn't included. ".gz" of course is included.

[The basic difference between .pkd and ADF: the .pkd contains geometry information plus it stores the trackdisk sector label data, which is not present in ADF files. A .pkd file can optionally only contain those sectors marked as in-use in the OFS/FFS bitmap. (I don't know whether WinUAE supports that, since I archived all my floppy disks using the ALL option.)] |
