Sorry for digging up an old thread...

I always knew of this game but never bothered to try and find or give it a bash

Anyway; while away in Scotland I had some time on my hands so came across Mrs Beanbag's cool site: http://www.glastonbridge.co.uk/mrbeanbag/

So; I'm now playing the following from .ADF:

... Mr Beanbag! (with scrolling fix patch applied)
... Beanbag Seasons - Burns Night Special (not available from the website as an .ADF so I created one; in The Zone! for anyone who would find this useful)
... Mr Beanbag! - Halloween Level

A few questions if I may;

a) I obviously want to get the full Beanbag experience so have downloaded "Mr Beanbag! - Halloween Level" also.

This file seems to be from 2007; is it not incorporated into "Mr Beanbag!"?

I checked the website --> "Media" where "All Zones - Screenshots" are shown but don't see this Halloween level.

b) Such a cool game; would be awesome to have it completed someday. Really a question for Mrs Beanbag; any plans to finish this gem?

Oh yeah; finally HOL needs to add an entry for "Beanbag Seasons - Burns Night Special"

Hello

a) "Hallowe'en Level" was a special for Hallowe'en, it is not a level in Mr Beanbag. In fact i decided to do a different level for every month of the year, and package them all together as "Beanbag Seasons", but i only got round to doing two of them so far.

b) I hope i will finish it but so much to do, so little time. The game only really needs the final boss to be finished, and an end sequence. I had picked up development again a couple of years ago and that is when my A1200's accelerator died and i haven't done any work on it since. I heard one person actually got as far as the final boss (which is there but not possible to defeat it, also there is a bug when you die at that point).

HOL need not add this entry until all 12 levels are complete! Maybe...

Thanks for your interest.

Hey there Amy,

Wow 2 you say? Am I right in saying these are "Halloween Level" & "Burns Night Special"?

Oh, sorry to hear that about your A1200. You could always continue with WinUAE and later get someone to test on a real A1200

You are planning 12 levels for Beanbag Seasons - Burns Night Special? Excellent

My girlie is half Scottish; hence why I was just on holiday there

Her father is an old Scottish international rugby union man plus a BBC Radio 5 commentator and he has a nice apartment right next to Gleneagles golf course / hotel.

She's not really into games but I showed her your Beanbag Seasons - Burns Night Special and she smiled when she saw the Scottish Highland cattle / thistle / kilts etc.

@Mrs Beanbag; are people able to donate to this fine project somehow and offer an incentive?

As soon as you're ready we'd love to release a CD32 version for cd32.co.uk we've got both the latest Beta and the Halloween special on our PD disc (didn't know about the Burn's Night Special thing, that'll go on the next release)

Perhaps if you got enough money to quit your day job, but that is not likely.

There is talk of a soundtrack album.
